My First Quilt...Almost

Okay, so most of you know I am divorced. My sons have a step-sister (even though Lee is getting a divorce, the boys will always think of Chloe as their step-sister). For Christmas 2007, I wanted to do something special for her since I liked to include her when I could. I asked Mom what she thought I could make with little or no cash that would be special. We ended up coming up with the idea of a raggy quilt. So, I picked out the fabric...she loves lime green and hot pink...and spent about $20 at Walmart. Mom showed me what to do to make the raggy quilt. I cut the squares, designed the layout, and pinned the squares. Mom sewed it together. To make a long story short, Chloe really liked the quilt. And I used the remaining fabric to make a second quilt that I gave to my neice Sarah Christmas 2008.
