Kurly Korkers by Raggy Anne

Ok, so I know my business is raggy things, like quilts, totebags, and burp rags. But for some reason, I just love these korker hairbows and they really do remind me of a rag doll with curly hair. Hence, the addition of Kurly Korkers to my reportoire of creating hand made items to sell. Following the instructions from several sources, I have perfected my own technique.

Using my DD's collection of really cute outfits, I have created so many colorful designs. Some look like flowers, some have buttons, some are just plain adorable! Of course, Meagan is my little model. She will be 1 September 30 and she is already a little dancing diva. Now she has the accessories that every little diva demands.

I just love making them and I love seeing my daughter wearing them. Now, if only I can get he to keep them in her hair for more than a few minutes at a time!

My First Quilt...Almost

Okay, so most of you know I am divorced. My sons have a step-sister (even though Lee is getting a divorce, the boys will always think of Chloe as their step-sister). For Christmas 2007, I wanted to do something special for her since I liked to include her when I could. I asked Mom what she thought I could make with little or no cash that would be special. We ended up coming up with the idea of a raggy quilt. So, I picked out the fabric...she loves lime green and hot pink...and spent about $20 at Walmart. Mom showed me what to do to make the raggy quilt. I cut the squares, designed the layout, and pinned the squares. Mom sewed it together. To make a long story short, Chloe really liked the quilt. And I used the remaining fabric to make a second quilt that I gave to my neice Sarah Christmas 2008.

Ummmm, so now what?

Ok, so this is weird. I almost had to ask my mom how to start this blog. Almost. hehe I pride myself on being able to figure things out on my own, but sometimes there is just TOO much stuff to sort through to find the correct information.

Well, I am up and running and hopefully it will not be too long before it all starts making sense. Hmmmm, okay, so how do I.....
